Delivering on Our Values at Spida

Wendy Boyd Sales and Marketing Manager Spida Machinery

Let’s face it, when a supplier to the industry has been around 5 Key Values at Spida for a long time, decades in our case, there are certain values 1. Always work with the customer to produce that we live by. These values are the support structure on which what they need we build our business. I believe it’s called “commitment to the 2. V alue for money is paramount cause,” or as others would say, an insatiable appetite to succeed. 3. After-sales support and service are vitally important

Our continued motivation, though the list is plenty, includes providing the best possible product at the best price, continually 4. P artnerships are crucial improving our communication and really listening to our 5. In formation access 24/7 online is key for customers’ needs, and making sure we meet our commitments educating and empowering the customer at every opportunity. Take our Service Team, for example – partner, no matter their requirements Brian, Cullen, Chad, and the boys are constantly traveling, installing, servicing, providing fresh ideas, and bringing back those little pearls of wisdom that the customer tells us. Dealing with the bottlenecks the customer is experiencing in their own production, we as suppliers to this industry can learn what to do better and how to assist our customers in improving the production of their components, wall frames, and/ or roof trusses in a way that best suits their needs. If you listen, you learn, develop, and grow.

After-sales service is a vital string to our bow. With 14 full-time Service Team members on the road, around the world, our commitment to the customer and their business, machinery, and software, as well as their service and maintenance regime and the safety of the equipment, is of utmost importance. Planning our service time and delivering on time

and cost savings maintenance is how the Spida reputation as a “business partner who cares for your machinery” is maintained.

Research and Development is another string to our bow, and quite frankly, we love this stuff! A frame line that saves at least two workers, maybe more along the line, and produces more in a shift than the customer thought possible, certainly more than the previous line could, is gold! A linear saw that cuts a house lot before morning tea is not a pipe dream but a fact. A truss pressing system that you can buy new or revamp your old tables and still have the latest tech, not a dream – a reality.

Spida can supply your whole component, truss, and frame plant with machinery – a bold statement, in reality a fact! We have more than 75 pieces of machinery that can cater to your whole plant, from start to finish, wall and floor, cutting and measuring, truss assembly pressing and materials handling. We can take your production to a level you may not have thought possible. Talking to us about your production requirements won’t cost you a cent, but it will save you money, production time, and labor.
