HYMAGLOBIN

THE FRANTICS

‘Totally Original Teen Band’ consisting of five long standing friends who have pulled resources together to demonstrate the consequences of Indie music being placed in a kitchen blender with the experimental creative input of all the band members, combined with a tang of alternate rock and finally layered the awoken ghosts of 1940's jazz. The result of this liquid mayhem is Hymaglobin.

A 4 piece band playing music by: U2, Queen, Kinks, The Who, Stereophonics, Elton John, Aerosmith, ACDC, The Doors, Free, Green Day, ZZ Top, Blondie, Cream and many more.

HOLD FIRE Brighton's Hold Fire are, simply, a band in their early 20s who write great songs together. Last year they supported One Night Only and Cage the Elephant, as well as appearing at the Great Escape, Latitude and In The City festivals, this year already saw them go on a couple of headline tours. They’ve recently recorded their debut album with producer Youth (the Verve).

A. THOUSAND. WAYS. TO. FALL a.thousand.ways.to.fall are James Delin, Matt Crooks, Alex Fox, and Dan Atkinson. On March 11th, they went to the CSR FM studios for a live interview, acoustic performance, and the first radio play of their single. www.myspace.com/athousandwaytofall

2.30pm

BUCKLERS REEL The aim of the band is to produce an eclectic sound from traditional Jigs and reels to songs by American singer songwriters like Dylan, Steve Earle and Tom Petty and to more traditional songs from England and Ireland all blended with the original material.

DAN MARKALND Dan Markland should be a familiar name for those who frequented the open mic nights along the south coast as an artist who delivers lyrics of genuine wit and honesty. Often compared to Billy Bragg, he has swapped his acoustic guitar for a full electric crunch and is set to delight fans both old and new at this year's Arundel Festival. www.myspace.com/danmarkland
