Depart Malta at 7:15 am, fly to Munich and travel to Passau
YouwillbearrivinginMunichat09:45am.Uponarrival,youwillhaveaprivate transfertotakeyoutoPassau.Thejourneyshouldtakeapproximately2hours andthiswillbethepointofembarkationforyourrivercruise.

Day 2: 11th December
Sail past the Wachau, and arrive in Vienna (B/L/D)
Inthemorning,youwillbesailingtheDanube valley, also known as Wachau before arriving inViennaintheafternoon.
UponarrivalinVienna,youwillhaveaprivate transfer to take you from the port to the Christmas Markets in the centre of the city. Yourtourleaderwillescortyouandguideyou onthebestmarketstoexperience.
Your afternoon will be dedicated to visiting the various Christmas Markets that bring this city to life. In the evening, your private transfer will take you back to the ship at the agreedtime.
Day 3: 12th December
Vienna to Bratislava (B/L/D)
Overnight, your cruise will be taking you from Vienna to Bratislava, docking in the Slovakian city in the morning. Here you will have the opportunity to go on the city train tour which allows you to see some of the city’s main highlights. TheseincludeSt.Martin’sCathedral,Michael’sGate,Reduta,BratislavaCastle, New Bridge and UFO, Slavín memorial, the Trinitarian Church, Grassalkovich Palace,Eurovea,citywallsandparliamentbuilding.
Later, you can also visit the Christmas Markets. You can return to the ship on footsincethecentreisclosetowheretheshipdocks.
Day 4: 13th December
Bratislava to Krems (B/L/D)
After departing from Bratislava, your cruise will take you along the Danube to the charming Austrian town of Krems. Upon arrival, you’ll have approximately onehourtostrollthroughtheoldtown.
In the afternoon, you will pass through the Wachau Valley before arriving in Melk,whereyou’llhaveanotherhour-longstoptoexplore.
Day 5: 14th December Melk to Linz (B/L/D)
Your ship will dock in Linz early in the morning. Linz is the third largest city in Austria, making it the capital of Upper Austria. The city is a cultural hub all year round but is all the more enchanting in the winter, when the Christmas Markets are set up. In the morning, you’ll have free time to explore the city at your leisure. You might choose to visit one of Linz’s excellent museums, or strollthroughtheoldtown.
Once again, you will be able to visit the town’s Christmas Markets on foot in theearlyafternoon.

Day 6: 15th December
Passau disembarkation - return to Munich (B)

You can visit the Marienplatz, which is Munich’s central square and you can spendsometimeatthehistoricMarienplatzChristmasmarket,andnearbythe MedievalChristmasMarketatWittelsbacherplatz.
