Two years ago, the club sought new partners to expand its offerings. Netwatch, based in nearby Lake Forest, Calif., was one of the companies that stepped forward
With Netwatch’s help, the Boys & Girls Club improved safety and security across its sites by gaining access to Netwatch’s AI-enabled remote video monitoring services It also delivered insights into options for careers in the security industry
"Our partnership with the Boys and Girls Club demonstrates our dedication to the local community and its youth," said Kurt Takahashi, CEO, Netwatch "By empowering club members to achieve goals they once believed were out of reach, we help build a strong foundation for their future."

The Irvine club’s YES Workforce Development program is central to its partnership with Netwatch. Designed to equip teens ages 16-24 with skills to succeed in the workforce, it connects members with local opportunities for education and professional development. The goal is to ensure teens can transition seamlessly into the workforce after graduating from high school or college
As part of the program, Netwatch team members connect with teens who are considering their career paths. They provide insights into opportunities they may still need to consider. Many members, who often are unfamiliar with opportunities in the security sector, get to experience the benefits of working in cybersecurity, physical security, or IT fields. Netwatch-sponsored events like lunch-and-learns and field trips to the corporate offices and monitoring center allow students to better understand the available career options and how these roles can lead to long-term, rewarding careers

Netwatch is committed to educating teens about these potential career paths Because it has seen the benefits of hiring those within the community Several Netwatch employees, who began in entry-level positions and progressed through the ranks, have visited the Boys & Girls Club to share their experiences, demonstrating what can be achieved with perseverance and determination.
"These kids are so smart, but they often don’t realize the vast array of opportunities available to them,” Takahashi said. "Many haven’t had the chance to explore careers beyond what they see in their immediate environment. Inspiring just one or two kids and helping them see what’s possible for their future can be incredibly powerful. The impact of that kind of inspiration can change their lives."
As part of its ongoing commitment to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast, Netwatch provides its AI-powered video monitoring services at all four locations in Orange County, Calif Their support extends beyond security
