Managing Director Richard Packham Managing Director of the Borough Council since 1993 and formally head of economic development at Norwich City Council, he has been responsible for guiding the council through major structural changes. Leader of the Council Councillor Trevor Wainwright Portfolio holder for Economic Development. Councillor Wainwright has lived in the Borough for over 30 years and been a council member for over a decade.
Deputy Managing Director Jane Ratcliffe Joined the Council in 2006 and became Deputy Managing Director in 2011, responsible for economic growth and social regeneration. Jane previously worked for the London Borough of Redbridge where her functions included Regeneration.
Economic Development Officer Peter Wright Responsible for the management of the Economic Development Unit, Peter is also very much involved with the development of economic policy, long term strategy and is the programme manager for enterpriseGY, the Borough’s start-up and business support programme. Business Liaison and Development Officer Stephanie Pimlott Responsible for business liaison, marketing and promotion of the Borough to stimulate business expansion and inward investment. Also responsible for the co-ordination of the East Anglian Electronics Liaison Group (ANGLE). Research and Information Officer Christopher Macdonald Responsible for collating up-to-date statistics and information for regular dissemination to inward investors to the area. Also responsible for all departmental publications and maintaining the business and commercial property register for the borough. Enterprise Zone Co-ordinator Eunice Edwards Responsible for managing enquiries, marketing and promotion of the Enterprise Zone, Eunice splits her time between Great Yarmouth Borough Council, Waveney District Council and New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership.
