- DIY beauty bar with things like pedicures, manicures and face masks - make beauty treatments like sugar scrubs, lotions, lip glosses, etc., and send them home as party favors - pillowcase decorating where each guest is given a plain white pillowcase and fabric markers to make their own design - board games - movie marathon, and you could watch this from your blanket fort - pajama dance party or karaoke - charades - making your own jewelry - scavenger hunt in the dark using flashlights and hidden clues (the clues could be written as riddles to popular lullabies) - use flashlights to have a shadow puppet show Favors: For party favors, I always prefer something I know the guests will use. There are so many great ideas with a slumber party theme. - toothbrushes - socks with silly designs - slippers - homemade beauty treatments - sleep masks - personalized pajama t-shirts (could easily make these with personalized iron-on decals) - nail polishes or a pedicure set with nail file, nail clippers, etc. - dry pancake mix in a jar with baking instructions
There you have it - all the fun of a slumber party without the actual sleeping portion. You may need a nap after all this planning though!
