MICAH holds annual Gala
Milwaukee Innercity Congregations Allied for Hope (MICAH) held its annual gala at the Italian Community Center, located in the Third Ward. Retired Rev. Joe Ellwanger (pictured above, second from right) received a framed copy of the Congressional Record in which he was recognized for his presence and service during the March on Selma. Cong. Gwen Moore entered the recognition to the Congressional Record. Ellwanger is pictured with (left to right): Catoya Roberts, MICAH executive director; Shirley Ellis, an aide to Cong.
