PARK AND RIDE
PARK & RIDE POSTCODES
We strongly advise visitors to use public transport. Should you choose to drive, Durham has three Park and Ride car parks.
Belmont: DH1 1SR / Sniperly: DH1 5RA / Howlands Park: DH1 3TQ
Belmont (Durham City), Sniperly and Howlands. A ticket must be purchased for each park and ride visitor when using and Park and Ride facilities even if the bus is not used. Facilities close at 7.00pm and vehicles will be locked in overnight if still on site at this time.
FREE SHUTTLE BUSES
At Belmont Park and Ride additional University provided coaches will run from 8.15am into the city centre. The final University return coach will depart at 5.45pm from the Palatine Centre (Stockton Road). Durham County Council Shuttle Buses will run beyond this time.
A free shuttle bus service will run throughout the day. This will use a circular route: • College of St. Hild and St. Bede • Directly opposite Elvet Riverside building 1 • Palatine Centre / Mountjoy, Stockton Road
