PUBLICATION: IGR VOICE - the social justice newsletter OPEN RATE OF NEWSLETTERS FROM OCT 2019 - MAY 2020 TO AN AUDIENCE OF 2K+ STUDENTS

March April May Renaming campaign for IGR Voice.
The student-facing newsletter was renamed from Community Announcements to IGR Voice, doubled in size from 1k to 2k, and significantly increased its Open Rate from an upper threshold of 34% in 2018-2019 to 50% in 2019-2020.
Social media has been a crucial piece of our approach to student engagement during this time. IGR held a virtual Spirit Week with 15 points of engagement, compiled a playlist of 18 songs from our QuaranTune Tuesday campaign, and shared a little glimpse into the everyday life of IGR community members.

The primary entry points to the website are The Institute, About IGR, Staff, CommonGround, and Courses pages. This year, there were increases in the total number of sessions (+10.59%) and new users (+14.7%) and a decline in page views (-1.49%) and session duration (-3.13%). Most visitors to the site were new (86%) and the top traffic to the site was through organic searches (45%) and direct searches (39%).

New handout series
IGR produced an exciting new handout series called IGR Insights. The series is made up of 11-pages of invaluable resources for those considering applying dialogic techniques on campus and beyond.


Dialogue is a Superpower: Participating in IGR will change a students life forever, so we imbued that message througha new brochure that speaks to students.

Budget allocation from Student Life and LSA remain consistent in comparison to the last couple of years and increased by 6.3% and
17.8% respectively. Student Life provides funding for eight full-time staff members and LSA provides funding for five full-time faculty
members, together they fund two part-time lecturers and two emeritus faculty performing administrative work. Despite offering
refunds and reduced fees to attend the Virtual Institute, demand remained high and reduced costs allowed revenue to be stable, only
changing by -1.5%. The income from Consultations decreased by -39.7% and was due to COVID-19 related cancelations, however, as
we explore virtual capabilities it is expected that those numbers will increase again. IGR experienced a 36.6% increase in gift-giving
