While this is not as straightforward as it could seem, it will solve the issue. Don't confuse shutting off the phone and then restarting it. Long-press the power button, then press Restart. In other situations, change your phone's Airplane mode and then back to Airplane work. To accomplish this, head to Settings. Then, select "Wireless Networks" or "Connections." Select Airplane mode and then enable it. For about 5 seconds, turn to switch it off. Verify that your mobile data works well. Verify that you're connected to the cellular data service and that the Wi-Fi is not on.

Reset the APNs

If you're on an Android device, start your troubleshooting procedure by setting your phone's Access Point Names (APNs). The APN is the one responsible for the networking aspect of your device. It is responsible for crucial settings like the gateways and IP addresses to offer you the required Internet connectivity. After a time of using the phone, this gateway could get corrupted. Resetting it can fix the problem. To reset it:  Go to your phone's Network & Internet settings.  Choose the Mobile Network option, Advanced, then Access Point Names.  Click on the lines with dotted lines in the bottom right and choose Set to default.

Change APN Protocol to IPv4/IPv6 Certain Android phones allow you to choose to leave out your APN Protocol as blank. If this happens, modify it so that it reads IPv4/IPv6.

Verify the mobile network that you are connected to. There are times when you might be using your data from mobile; however, the SIM card used for data is not the same. This happens when you have a pair that you have double SIM cards. Double-check to ensure that you are, in fact, using the right SIM card. Also, take a look at the network mode that is in use. This can be done by going to Mobile Data settings and locating the Network Mode. From there, switch the mode to 3G/4G instead of 2G/3G.

Insert the SIM card. Turn off your mobile. Pull out your SIM card. Take 30 seconds to wait, then insert your SIM card. Switch your phone back on and observe how your data connections perform. By doing this, you will reset the connection between the SIM card and your phone to fix any problems that have arisen while doing so.
