In Scripture prayer is a trinitarian act. We pray to the Father, through the Son, by the Spirit. This should give us confidence to pray since we are praying to our loving Father while Jesus is at His right-side interceding for us, while the Spirit takes our prayers and interprets them and brings them to the Father. Have you ever thought through the Trinitarian reality of your prayer?
