Fisherman's Net
Moroccan fishermen use them to provide for their families, but once they are no longer strong enough to serve their purpose, these fishnets are gathered and repurposed as interlayers. Mohair
On the southern tip of Africa, Artisans in North Swaziland take strong threads made from goat hair and dye them into countless vibrant hues. The strands are laid in their natural organic patterns which are forever captured inside our ecoresin, complete with a velvet finish.
Knitted Sisal
Artisans in Colombia take the strong fibers made from the sisal plant and knit them together with giant knitting needles to create a loose organic pattern. Because of sisal fiber's strength, this material has a variety of important everyday uses.
These stone-like beads are actually sea urchin spines that wash ashore naturally from the ocean. Each is as beautiful and unique as the sea creature who formed them.

Techniques passed down generations are used by Artisans in Nepal to create this traditional monastery paper, made from the pulp of lokta trees. Designs are deeply hand carved into heavy blocks, which are carefully dipped into metallic paint and hand pressed into the paper to forge a rich, unique pattern.
Peru Weave
Spinning, weaving, and crafting handmade textiles is taught almost from birth in the mountains of Peru. You can catch "mamas" walking down the street, farming, or sitting on a hillside, always with a spindle or a loom in hand. Spinning and weaving becomes a part of every daily task for the women of Peru.

The silk cocoons are washed, flattened with a coal iron and stitched together to create one textile.
