world of Work Youth Expo
Our eighth graders had a fantastic experience at the World of Work Youth Expo in Abilene, exploring a variety of careers through hands-on activities and direct interactions with industry professionals. This event helped students understand real-world job options and inspired them to consider their future paths in trades, technology, and professional fields.

Spotlight On CHS Welding
The Colorado High School welding program offers hands-on training that equips students with valuable skills for future careers. Guided by skilled instructors, students learn welding techniques, safety, and metallurgy through classroom instruction and practical lab work. The program builds technical skills, problem-solving, and teamwork, preparing students for careers in fields like construction, manufacturing, and automotive services. With opportunities to earn certifications, CHS’s welding class empowers students to forge successful futures in welding and related industries.

After The Bell

Colorado ISD’s afterschool programs provide students with diverse opportunities to explore their passions, develop skills, and grow in a supportive environment. Programs like Dance, Awesome Artist, Keyboard Klub, and e-sports encourage creativity, teamwork, and competition.
