Littleton Public Schools

Littleton Public Schools (LPS) is a premier school district located a few miles south of downtown Denver. Its slogan, “Big enough to serve you; small enough to know you” is an accurate portrayal of the district’s culture.

From our award-winning PreK–Grade 12 schools, to our charter schools, to our alternative education programs, you will fi nd a school that feels like home and where you can be healthy and happy – just imagine your possibilities.

We do the big things well. We have an incredibly supportive community, exceptional generosity from our taxpayers, world-class education, competitive extracurriculars and an unmatched dedication to K–12 mental health support.

Those things all matter very much. We also understand that school is personal. It’s important that you come to a school and feel accepted and celebrated, have an outlet for your passions and interests, and know that as you grow, we will too.

The LPS 100 Percent Goal – 100 percent of LPS students will graduate prepared for meaningful post-secondary opportunities – sounds offi cial and serious because it is. But the meaning is simple: no matter who you are, you have a place in LPS. A place where we are committed to you – 100 percent of you.

“A Destination District” for students and staff, LPS teachers are caring professionals who devote their time and talent to helping each and every student achieve to his or her highest potential. LPS teachers average 12 years of experience, and 79 percent have master’s degrees or above.

With a history of close community ties, voters have passed every bond and mill levy election LPS Boards of Education have placed on the local ballot over the years. This kind of support demonstrates the legacy this community leaves for future generations of LPS students.

A major strength of LPS is the commitment and involvement of its staff and community. Schools have business partners, and parent and community volunteers donate about 200,000 hours of their time to the district every year.

With a continued commitment to excellence and postsecondary workforce readiness, Littleton Public Schools offers a premier education in a safe and community-oriented environment. Please visit www.littletonpublicschools.net for more information.
