A review of ornton’s e orts to make the city more environmentally friendly through its Sustainability Program is showing some results.

“Sta is putting in so much work,” said Alice Huang, Senior Management Analyst told councilors at the ornton created and adopted the Sustainability Action Agenda in 2020 through a program with Xcel Energy. Currently, an audit of the city regarding energy usage is being done. e Action Agenda is focused on eight key topics, which are climate action, carbon-free energy supply, healthy and e cient buildings, sustainable transportation and clean air, waste reduction and recycling, sustainable water and land management, healthy community and resilient economy.
