“We believe our industry knowledge, skills, resources, and commitment to giving our customers stellar service are what set our company apart from others,” said Bryan Nash who holds membership in: the International Society of Arboriculture, Tree Care Industry Association, National Fire Protection Association, and the Evergreen and Conifer Chambers of Commerce.

“ e year-round wild re season intensi es from July-October so now is the time to start taking steps to reduce the risks of potential re damage to your property,” said Bryan Nash who eagerly spoke of his company’s new masticator machine. “Similar to a woodchipper, we have a tract-steer mounted unit, which moves through the forest to grind, chip, or break apart into small pieces fuels such as brush, small trees, and slash.” Certi ed Fire Mitigation Specialist Bryan Nash explained that mastication, which might not always be an appropriate forest treatment in all circumstances, can be used as a stand-alone process or an alternative treatment prior to a prescribed burning. However, once the property is masticated, it is no longer a burn candidate. Utility companies once used masticators frequently to reduce vegetation beneath power lines. is method is now also considered a useful treatment for preparing a site for planting, releasing sapling-sized trees, or reducing surface fuels in re-prone forest ecosystems.

“With respect to mitigation problems during wild re season, we make ourselves available to residents and groups like Colorado State Forest Service, Evergreen Fire/Rescue, and Community Wild re Protection,” said Nash, a staunch supporter of community involvement. No matter what services your trees, plants, and/or property grounds require, ArborRx Family Tree Service can provide “just what the doctor ordered!” e company is open Monday-throughSaturday from 8:00am-6:00pm (although hours may vary at times).
