Golden Young Professionals (GYP) GYP’s mission is to promote the vitality of the Golden community and to empower young GYP’s mission is to promote the vitality of the Golden community and to empower young professionals in the greater Golden area to excel as leaders. To fulfi ll this mission, GYP organizes social events, educational professional development meetings, and volunteer opportunities to create and nurture a network of young professionals from all industries. These events provide a fun and informative atmosphere for members to build and foster relationships that support their professional growth. GYP places a strong emphasis on community engagement, recognizing the value of the personal and professional relationships formed while serving the community together.

Message from the President of GYP – Hunter Wyckoff Golden Young Professionals is an organization that has an incredible impact on the greater Golden community. The three main legs on which GYP stands are community impact, professional development, and social engagement. These three facets not only benefi t the community but build real, lasting relationships for our members to grow their businesses. As an organization, we have received feedback from multiple leaders of the community in the non-profi t, private, and public sectors stating that they would like more input and involvement from the younger generation. GYP gives young professionals a chance to have their voices heard in Golden. Our members range from those who are just looking to gain friends after moving to the area to those who are looking to network and grow their businesses while providing value to their community. It is truly an honor to be able to serve as Chair of GYP and I hope you get the chance to see what GYP is all about! Who are GYP members? GYP’s members are professionals between the ages of 21 and 39 with an interest in Golden. We come from diverse educational backgrounds, an array of professions, and varying positions within our fi elds. GYP prides itself on being an inclusive organization and welcomes all young professionals with a desire to make an impact in the Golden community.
