EDUCATORS
ABOUT US Nature’s Educators is a volunteerdriven educational wildlife program in Douglas County. We are licensed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service to care for non-releasable raptors for educational programming. We also care for a variety of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. We travel the state (and surrounding) to give presentations on conservation, habitats, adaptations, anatomy, and so much more. We visit hundreds of schools, festivals, meetings, events, nature centers, and
assisted living homes each year. It is so important to learn about the animals we share our ecosystems with. Our volunteers work so hard to care for our amazing animals, give great presentations, and constantly be researching new ways to get audiences excited about wildlife. We are currently building a brand new nature center and your donations will help us to finish this dream as well as feed our ambassadors.
