Albino H. Infante
February 23, 1942 - June 30, 2021
Albino H. Infante, 79, of Brighton, Colorado met our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
Albino was born February 23, 1942 in Brownsville, Texas to Faustino Infante and Carolina Hernandez. He met, fell in love and married Modesta Rios in 1960. ey made their way to Colorado and settled in Brighton. Together they had six children: Graciela Infante (died as an infant), Udelia Rocha (Manuel), Roger, Rosa Salazar (Joe), Alvino Jr. (Jennifer), and Herverto AKA Gibby. He was a dedicated hardworking farmer with Sakata Farms. He enjoyed working the elds and a good barbecue with his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife; four children; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at Tabor Funeral Home, in Brighton, Colorado. Funeral Mass is Friday, July 9, 2021, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, in Brighton, with Graveside Services to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

Arthur (Art) Towers

January 8, 1931 - May 21, 2021
Arthur (Art) Towers, 90 of Montrose, CO passed away peacefully at home on May 21, 2021. He was born in Burlington, CO January 8th, 1931, to Marion and Opal Towers. He served on the school board of Adams County District 14 from May 1963 through January 1973 and was president for several of those years. He also served on the South Adams County volunteer re department for several years and was Fire Chief from 1973 through 1975. He was also involved with the boy scouts and was a boy scout leader for Troup 121 for several years. He started his own Tax Practice in Commerce City in 1954 and eventually sold it and started one in Parker, Colorado with his wife Carol where his daughter Deborah also joined him in the business. He eventually semi-retired and moved to Montrose, Colorado where he and his wife Carol had their own tax practice. e front range practice was then taken over by Deb, Wanda & Gale. He was preceded in death by his father Marion, his mother Opal, his sister Vonnie, brother Lester, sister Violet Windell and brother Robert. He was also preceded in death by his rst wife Cora and grandson Jason. He is survived by his wife Carol his sons Dale Towers and Donald Towers and his daughters Gale Hatley (Gene Hatley), Deborah Towers (Wanda Sellers) and Kathy Rossi (Tony Rossi), his stepdaughters Carrie Lovato and Sherry Lovato, 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. He will be remembered for his kind heart and helping hand. We know he is with the Lord now, because of his unwavering faith. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. A celebration of his life will be held in Parker, CO July 24th at 10:30am at the Crossroads Community Church at 9900 S. Twenty Mile Rd, Parker, CO 80134 with a fellowship to follow at the church. KAMPBELL Donna Jane Kampbell
February 13, 1948 - June 26, 2021
Donna Jane Kampbell, 73, of Commerce City, CO, passed away peacefully at her home and was welcomed into the Lord’s presence on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
Donna was born on February 13, 1948 to Vaughn Fickel and Emma Keane Fickel in Alliance, NE. She grew up in Marsland and Hemingford, NE. She attended Hemingford schools, where she was a cheerleader and exceled in academics and sports activities.
She married Paul Kampbell on December 23, 1969. ey made their home in Colorado. Donna worked for the federal government for four years. She then worked as a legal secretary for 20 years. en Donna worked with Paul at Eastside Heating doing accounting work until she retired.
Donna and Paul traveled extensively to many foreign countries and hosted three exchange students over the years. Donna was a very giving person and donated to many charities over the years. She always wanted to help anyone that she could. Donna enjoyed traveling, working in the yard, gardening, spending time with family, and spoiling her grandchildren. Donna kept her house in tip-top shape even with her full time work and taking care of her family. She was a proud mother and attended as many of her children’s activities as possible. She was also a proud grandmother. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life and she treasured her time with them. Donna is survived by Paul Kampbell, her daughter Nicole (Jay) Singh, son Boe (Katrina) Kampbell, grandchildren, Sophia, Jason, Kendall and Colby, brothers, Conn Fickel, Gaylin (Cindy) Fickel, Ken (Vicki) Fickel, and Terry (Betty) Fickel and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and grandson, Joshua Singh.
A celebration of her life was held at Tabor Funeral Home, Brighton, CO on ursday, July 1, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Donna was laid to rest in Hemingford, NE, her hometown and a place she loved. Graveside services were on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hemingford Cemetery, Hemingford, NE.

Marian Bruns
Marian Bruns died suddenly in her home in Brighton on December 4, 2020. She was predeceased by husband Richard and son David, and is survived by her sons Alan and Kevin, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was the daughter of Lionel W. and Mattie (Meister) Kinsey and niece of Mary Meister of Humboldt, Nebraska, and sister of Norman Kinsey of Tucson, AZ, all now deceased.
She began teaching piano at age 16 and continued to do so throughout her life, giving several lessons on the day she died. She and her family moved to the house on Myrtle Street in Brighton in 1958, and she lived there until her death. She was organist for the Brighton United Methodist Church for 48 years, and was active in the Brighton Euterpian Society and the Northland Chorale. For years she accompanied band students at the state solo & ensemble festival, donating many hours of her time assisting local young musicians. Her back yard bloomed from early Spring through late Fall with many owers, and her hummingbird and bird feeders were always full. She was an avid snow- and water-skier and ice skater, and took full advantage of the slopes and Sand Hill lake until late old age forced her to quit. Husband Richard died in 2007 after 58 years of happy marriage. Subsequently she joined the Trinity United Methodist Church choir in Denver, and had the opportunity to travel to Italy and perform with that group. In recent years Marian received a great deal of enjoyment from working with her adult piano students. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and teacher. She is greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held for Marian on July 10, 2021, at 10:30AM at Brighton United Methodist Church. In lieu of owers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Audubon Society in Marian’s memory.
