Grant funding available for nonprofits

Nonpro t organizations that support Castle Rock residents and the community are invited to apply for grant money through the Philip S. Miller Resource Grant Program.

In 2023, up to $40,000 is available for up to ve nonpro t organizations. Eligible organizations include those that administer projects or programs geared toward the support of social and human services for Castle Rock residents and the community. Speci cally, the fund- ing requests must include provisions for water, energy, food or shelter assistance. Applicants must be able to demonstrate measurable results for use of the funds. Completed applications are due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1. e Town’s Finance Department is coordinating the application process. However, the Public Safety Commission will evaluate all applications and make a recommendation to Town Council, which will choose the grantees.
