Invitation To Bid Sand Creek Metropolitan District
Sealed bids will be received by the Sand Creek Metropolitan District (the “District”) at 100 St. Paul Street, Suite 300, Denver, Colorado 80206 until 4:00 PM MST April 21, 2023, for the Denver 60 Public Facilities Project, lying north of E. 40th Avenue and east of the Pena Boulevard right of way in the City and County of Denver. Bids will not be opened publically. Bidders shall have no right to hear or review competing bids or the documentation or analysis thereof. A bid bond is not required. Performance and Payment Bonds in Dual-Obligee format and evidence of Workmen’s Compensation, Automobile and LiabilityInsuranceas specifiedin the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract, which Contract shall be in substantially the form contained within the bid documents. Interested bidders may contact Bill Renken at billr@ paulscorp.com for access to the full bid documents. Potential bidders are advised that demonstrated past performance on work similar in type to that defined in the bid documents, bid responsiveness, and financial capability to perform will be among the factors in bidder qualifications and the award of the contract. Bids must be submitted on the bid forms furnished in the bid documents and may be submitted electronically to Bill Renken at billr@ paulscorp.com or by hard copy to the address shown above. All late bids will be rejected and returned un-opened to the bidder. The District reserves the right to reject any and/or all bidders as not qualified, rejectanyandallbids,waive irregularity in the bidding, or accept the most responsive and responsible bids as determined to be in the best interests of the District, said determination to be made in the sole discretion of the District.

Sealed Bids will be received by Painted Prairie Public Improvement Authority, hereinafter referred to as OWNER , at the office of the Authority Engineer, Merrick & Company, 5970 Greenwood Plaza Boulevard, Greenwood Village, CO 80111, until 10:00 AM local time on April 14, 2023 for:
Painted Prairie Filing No. 4 Streetlights and Electrical
This Contract provides for the construction of the following: Furnish and install approximately one hundred and eightyone (181) streetlights as well as related appurtenances.
Copies of the Bidding Documents may be requested from the Painted Prairie Public Improvement Authority, at the email of the Authority Engineer, barney.fix@ merrick.com, beginning March 23, 2023. NO PAYMENT REQURIED.
Bidders must be licensed Contractors in the State of Colorado.
Bids will be received providing unit price for items; however, the price given will be on a maximum not-to-exceed amount, as described in the Bidding Documents.
The Work is expected to be commenced within thirty (30) days after the Date of Contract.
Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid Price must accompany each Bid in the form specified in the Instructions to Bidders.
The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond guaranteeing faithful performance and warranty bond for two-years after Substantial Completion, and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract.
The OWNER reserves the right to award the contract by sections, to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any informalities and irregularities therein.

Legal Notice of Annual Meeting of Members
The Annual Meeting of Members of UNITED POWER, INC. will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the Waymire Dome at the Riverdale Regional Park, located at 9755 Henderson Road in Brighton, Colorado. Members can attend in-person or via livestream. The registration portal and instructions for participating in the meeting virtually can be found on the cooperative’s website at www.unitedpower.com.
The meeting will be for the purposes of electing directors, considering and approving reports for the prior fiscal year, and transacting such other business as may properly come before the meeting.
This year there are elections in the following districts: Mountain, South, West, and East for three-year terms. The candidates nominated by petition are Tamra “Tami” Waltemath in the Mountain District; Jamie Klein, Ken Kreutzer, Katherine “Kathy” Mills, and James Vigesaa in the South District; Virginia “Ginny” A. Buczek and Thomas “Tom” Hogan in the West District; and Steven “Steve” Douglas and Robert “Rob” Masden in the East District. All Members are entitled to cast a vote for the director positions of every district, regardless of the district where the Member is domiciled.
