WHAT THEY DO “Care is our middle name…and our doctors and staff absolutely live by it.” That’s how Jonathan James, CEO of Animal Care Center of Castle Pines, describes the practice he co-owns with four veterinarians, including doctors Brooke James, Molly Miller, Jonathan Quint and Shawn Wayment. In addition to medical care and diagnostics, vaccinations, surgery, grooming and other services are available to take care of a pet’s health and wellness. Animal Care Center specializes in enhancements such as dentistry, nutrition, rehabilitation and can assist owners with behavioral problems, as well as advanced pain management and anesthesia services. The doctors at Animal Care Center have extensive experience in several special interest areas, including geriatrics, less-invasive surgical and non-surgical options, arthritis, weight management, allergies, and difficult-to-diagnose conditions. Animal Care Center is also one of the few vets open on Saturdays in the area.

HISTORY Dr. Shawn Wayment and Dr. Brooke James started Animal Care Center of Castle Rock in 2003 as a mixed practice for large and small animals. Easily found, Animal Care Center is located in The Meadows across from the outlet mall. When Dr. Jonathan Quint joined the team, they had two locations, which they then consolidated in the Castle Pines location in 2011 to accommodate the growth of the practice. Animal Care Center took on the “Castle Pines” part of their name in 2012 when the city of Castle Pines incorporated. By Andrea Doray
