16 - Colorado Railroad Museum Open Car Saturday Climb aboard and tour several restricted pieces of rail equipment for a firsthand tour and catch a ride behind the uniquely Colorado Galloping Goose. Tours and rides operate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

24 - Jefferson Symphony Orchestra Carmina Burana Experience the dramatic and colorful music and poetry of Carmina Burana performed by the JSO and the Evergreen Chorale. Carl Orff's Carmina Burana is one of the most popular choral works ever composed. The piece features the widely popular O Fortuna and 24 short poems/compositions which contemplate the joy and despair caused by the excesses in life, such as drinking, gambling and gluttony, as well as the effects of fate on our lives. Sung in Latin, its style is similar to a Gregorian chant or medieval love song. Ticket prices: Adult $22, Senior $17, Student (11-21) $10, Child (10 & under) $5.

26 – June 28 - Foothills Art Center Robert Gratiot: Re-Imagined Realities Experience unique paintings by Colorado artist Robert Gratiot that challenge concepts of space, line, and composition to create a loose form of photo-realism.

26- 28 - Golden History Museums HOH Spring Break Camp We’re offering half-day Hands-on History camps for three days to coincide with spring break at Jefferson County schools. 8 – 11:30 a.m.

30 - Colorado Railroad Museum Bunny Express Let the rock of the rails transport you into spring with an Easter tradition at the Colorado Railroad Museum. Your whole family can hop on the Bunny Express Train featuring our 1880’s vintage passenger coach and experience what it was like to travel 100 years ago. The Easter Bunny and Spike the Railyard hound will be on hand with special spring treats. And the Depot General Store has perfect gifts available for this year’s Easter baskets. So hop on board the Bunny Express Train and loss track of time.

30 - Golden Family Easter Located in Parfet Park, Hosted by Golden Kiwanis, CSM Key Club & Downtown Merchants Association 10 am sharp. Other activities, food drive, face painting, cookie decorating, will continue till noon.

6 – June 30 - Foothills Art Center Edgar Degas: The Private Impressionist presents a unique selection of drawings, prints and photographs by the illustrious French artist, Edgar Degas (1834-1917). Exploring beyond Degas’ familiar ballerinas, you will experience a fascinating view into his art and life including his early drawings of objects in the Louvre Museum.
