Plenary suggestions The big ideas: Ask students to write down three ideas they have learned during the topic. Then ask them to share their facts in groups and to compile a master list of facts, with the most important at the top. Ask for ideas to be shared and find out which other group(s) agreed. What do I know? Ask students to each write down one thing about the topic they are sure of, one thing they are unsure of and one thing they need to know more about, being specific. Ask them to work in groups of five to six to agree on group lists. Ask each group to say what they decided and agree as a class about what they are confident about, what they are less sure of and what things they want to know more about.
