Whether you are planning your first visit or returning for your annual family reunion, there is much to explore and enjoy on our 28-mile long and one mile wide barrier island. Uncrowded, natural beaches, free from high rises and traffic, offer many simple pleasures – excellent fishing, kayaking, outstanding bird watching and awesome star gazing – just to name a few. And our beaches are pet-friendly – so no one gets left behind at vacation time! The Gulf of Mexico, the Apalachicola Bay and the Apalachicola River converge to form one of the most productive estuaries in the world. These island waters are nationally recognized as a fisherman’s paradise. Fresh oysters and sweet, plump shrimp are harvested locally and sold at the numerous fresh seafood dealers. You may also enjoy these seafood delicacies at the excellent restaurants on St. George Island and nearby Apalachicola and Eastpoint. There are a number of full service marinas and public launch ramps available in Apalachicola, Eastpoint, Carrabelle, and now on St.

George Island. Enjoy guided excursions to nearby uninhabited islands, national wildlife preserves and the Apalachicola River. The Dr. Julian G. Bruce State Park at the eastern end of the Island also provides excellent kayaking launches. Loggerhead sea turtles are an important part of life on St. George Island, especially during the summer months. Loggerheads return to their own hatching grounds to nest and lay eggs between May and November. We can help them accomplish their mission by ensuring that their path is free of obstacles and illuminated only by the moon. Nearby Historic Apalachicola has much to offer with its boutiques, art galleries, antique shops, Dixie Theatre presentations, historic museums, live marine exhibit and many excellent restaurants. The Villas of St. George, a 42unit beach front condominium community, is located on the western tip of the Island’s business district and in the heart of SGI Gulf Beaches. Help Protect Endangered Sea Creatures

Vacationers arenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t the only visitors to our island shores during the spring and summer seasons. Giant marine turtles crawl from the surf to the dunes to dig nests in which each will lay approximately 100 ping-pong sized eggs. Hatchlings will eventually emerge and scramble toward the sea. This phenomenon will only happen successfully if the mother turtles and hatchlings are not distracted by artificial lighting or bonfires along the beach. Franklin County has a marine turtle lighting ordinance prohibiting lighting that can be seen from the beach.

You can help by: 4Shielding window lighting with curtains or blinds. 4Avoid using flashlights (except flashlights with a red filter) on the beach or building bonfires during the spring/summer season. 4Re-filling deep holes dug in the sand and removing personal belongings from the beach at the end of the day. The turtles and hatchlings get caught in deep holes and beach furniture or tents left on the beach. This can be deadly.

Cape St. George Light The St. George Lighthouse Association, established in 2004, together with the State of Florida DEP, worked to salvage the pieces of the fallen Cape St. George Light, which stood for over 150 years on Little St. George Island. On October 31, 2009, Islanders gathered to witness the lighting of the refurbished Cape St George Light as it became an official navigational lighthouse. Construction has also begun on the Keeperâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s House and Museum, adjacent to the Lighthouse. Today, thanks to the tremendous dedication of many people, the refurbished Cape St. George Light, along with the Visitor Center and Museum, stands as an important part of maritime history. East End Extending from 11th Street east to the St. George Island State Park, this area of the Island is favored for its low density and miles of dunes. Stretches of pristine, white-sand beaches offer privacy and are excellent for beachcombing and watching dolphins play in the surf. Early risers will marvel at the splendid sunrises on the Gulf side. Be sure to take in the colors of the setting sun over the Bay. Walking enthusiasts, if you choose to trek all the way to the far end of the Island through the State Park, you’ll get a great workout. It is accessible only by four wheel drive or foot, but well worth the trip! Fishing on the East End is considered some of the best on the Island and visitors can see Dog Island across East Pass. In addition to the East End’s treasure trove of townhomes and individual vacation homes on the Gulf and Bay, there are private cluster communities such as Clipper Bay, Kinja Bay and Mariner’s Harbor that may have community pools and boat docks on the Bay. Visit the Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park at the very end of the Island, with its miles of undeveloped beaches and the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the Apalachicola Bay on the other.

CHECK-IN Where: Collins Vacation Rentals, Inc., 60 E. Gulf Beach Drive, St. George Island, FL 32328 – (1 block east of the Lighthouse) When: Check-In Time is 4 p.m. Eastern Time. Note: Check in begins at listed times, but cannot be guaranteed. Property must be cleaned and inspected prior to release of keys for occupancy. CHECK-OUT Where: Collins Vacation Rentals, Inc., 60 E. Gulf Beach Drive, St. George Island, FL 32328 When: Check-out time is 10 a.m. Eastern Time on the day of departure. Responsibilities: Upon checkout, we ask our guests to leave their home in the same general condition as it was found. Departure responsibilities include the following: leaving clean dishes, putting them away, disposing of all trash in proper street side containers, locking all doors and windows, returning keys to Collins Vacation Rentals. Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in additional charges to the guest.

RENTAL OCCUPANCY AND AGE REQUIREMENTS • Each property indicates the number of occupants allowed in a property at any one time. Exceptions are made for children age 3 and younger. • An atmosphere conducive to quiet enjoyment of guests in surrounding accommodations must be maintained. • Adults only, age twenty-five (25) or older, may reserve a property. Identification and proof of age may be requested. • We do not rent to groups of teenagers, with or without chaperones, or to college students. • Weddings, wedding receptions and other gatherings are not permitted without prior approval of owner and Collins Vacation Rentals, Inc. RENTAL PAYMENTS: RENTAL RATES NOW INCLUDE ALL FEES EXCEPT TAXES, TRAVEL PROTECTION, AND CERTAIN COMMUNITY FEES. • Payment of 50% of the rental charge, plus taxes and any applicable community fees, must be paid within 10 days of booking your reservation. The balance due must be received thirty (30) days prior to your arrival. These payments may be made by personal check, business check, or credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We no longer accept American Express. Any returned checks will be subject to a $30 fee. • If you are booking your reservation within thirty (30) days of arrival, total payment is required. This payment may be made by money order, cashier’s check, or credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. All internet reservations require a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit card. CANCELLATIONS AND RESERVATION CHANGES In the event that you must cancel, change dates, or switch properties, please note that we cannot refund your advance rental payment unless equivalent revenue is generated from another rental customer for the same time period. When your reservation is confirmed, any cancellation, date or property changes will be subject to this policy. If the property re-rents and generates the equivalent revenue, we will refund your advance rental payment, minus CSA Travel Protection Insurance fees (if applicable) and a Cancellation Fee, based on length of rental.

CSA TRAVEL PROTECTION Collins Vacation Rentals, Inc. strongly recommends purchasing Travel Protection to protect your vacation investment. Unless you decline, CSA Travel Protection will be added automatically to your total reservation balance at the time of booking. The cost is 6.5% of total charges. CSA information is included with your Booking Invoice. You may accept or decline coverage by initialing where indicated on your Booking Invoice and returning it with your advance payment. If you decline coverage, your final balance will be adjusted accordingly. You may also accept or decline coverage when booking your reservation online. SPECIAL NEEDS AND PHYSICALLY-CHALLENGED If you or a member of your party is physically challenged or has special needs, please discuss this with your Vacation Planner or visit our website to view properties suitable for the physically challenged when planning your vacation. Some homes offer elevator use for the physically challenged and those with special needs. Arrangements for elevator use must be made prior to your arrival and a deposit of $500.00 may be required. In some cases a document may be required. Please note that elevators are not guaranteed to be in working order and therefore may not be available. GRILLS Grills are provided at each unit. Use of grills on wooden decks, porches, and balconies or under properties is prohibited. For the safety of our guests, we have provided galvanized buckets and shovels for proper disposal of charcoal. The Villas of St George and 300 Ocean Mile have grills located in common areas for your use. PETS • Pet Friendly properties are indicated by a PAW PRINT icon. • Pets shall be limited to dogs only. A fee will be charged for more than two (2) dogs and a fee may be charged for large dogs. Some owners have other requirements. • Guests must sign a Pet Agreement in advance or at check-in. • PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN PRIVATE OR COMMUNITY SWIMMING POOLS. • Franklin County has a pet ordinance, which states that dogs must be on a leash or answer to voice command. • In an effort to protect our beaches and environment, we ask that guests remove all pet waste and dispose of it appropriately. Collins Vacation Rentals, Inc. provides waste bags for your convenience. • For liability purposes, only non-aggressive pets are allowed. • Pets found in a non-pet property will result in your immediate eviction with NO REFUND of rent. EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE FOR SPECIAL NEEDS AND SEEING EYE DOGS, AS OUTLINED BY LAW. POOL AVAILABILITY Pool availability and private pools with heaters cannot be guaranteed with any rental reservation. Where applicable, heated pools are available for an additional charge of $300 per week. This may also apply to hot tubs and spas at specific properties where they are connected to the pools. Check the website for specific property information. Pools are heated from October 1st to December 31st and from March 1st to April 30th. Pools are not heated during May, June, July, August, September, January or February. Pool heaters do not function if the outside air temperature drops below 60 degrees. If an additional charge has been paid, and the pool is unavailable, the additional charge may be refunded or may be pro-rated. Please be considerate of neighboring houses and curtail noise and lights after 10:00 pm. Please turn off pool lights when not in use. POWER, CABLE, AND WATER OUTAGES We occasionally experience outages that are beyond our control. No refunds will be given for any power, water or cable outages. TELEPHONES Collins Vacation Rentals, Inc. provides free, unlimited long distance service in all properties. Out-of-country service is limited to specific countries. Free long distance does not include international calls to cell phones. Please note that cell phone service may be limited in some areas of the Island. INTERNET Most homes have wireless/high speed connectivity. We also have a special Guest Office Area in our Collins Vacation Rentals lobby where guests may access wireless service. All properties offer dial-up capability; however, guests will be responsible for any local tolls.
