Ayurveda 7 Day Fall Cleanse & Cooking Class Online Event

Why Cleanse? Ayurveda recommends we cleanse two times a year at the changing of the seasons. Due to the intensity of summer, we have the tendency to push ourselves with overactivity, overheating, and overstimulation. Our reserves may feel depleted which can cause us to feel burned out physically and emotionally. It’s time to release what we’ve accumulated as we restore, repair, and re-set our digestion. Gently bring body and mind back into balance based on ancient wisdom and science. This is not a harsh cleanse that deprives your body of food and nutrients. You will be enjoying easy, fresh foods and spices. More than just a gentle cleanse, you’ll learn simple daily lifetime habits, how to cook with healthy whole foods, spices, and ghee (the healthy butter), how to move from summer foods to better choices for winter digestion, and much more! This class includes an eBook and three live Zoom video conferences. Recorded class options are available and returning cleanse students receive a discount.

Day/Time: Sat., 2:00-3:00 p.m. Dates: Sep. 26-Oct. 3 Day/Time: Sat., 2:00-2:45 p.m. Dates: Oct. 10 Fees: $125 (Early registration: $99 by Sep. 13) Location: Senior Center Instructor: Lynne Clem & Gauri Junnarkar MS, RD, LD, CDE, LMT, BAMS
