Join the LLG for Fun Events Jeanne Lane, Peg Roedel and Linda Irgens have taken over chairing LLG for 2015-16. A series of educational events are planned for Colleton River members and guests, including speakers from the Lowcountry area as well as field trips to interesting historical sites. Please join us for these upcoming events! October 9th - The Rise & Fall of Santa Elena History presentation & dinner at the Nicklaus Clubhouse. Today, the Charlesfort-Santa Elena site is an archaeologically significant National Historic Landmark, important for its associations with the 16th-century conflict between Spain and France for control of the New World. December 10th - Rose Hill Mansion Tour & Holiday Luncheon Historic Rose Hill Mansion, known as the most beautiful plantation house in the Lowcountry, has long held a treasured place in Southern history. February 26th - “See Why It’s Different Out Here” Presentation by Roberta Bowman on her experiences as a Director on the LPGA Board & dinner at the Nicklaus Clubhouse. She’s also a Board member at Colleton River.
