MARRIED: Jacob Groopman to Melody Walker on April 2, 2016. The wedding took place in Martinez, CA (Melody’s hometown), and was attended by friends and family including classmate Kagey Parrish! BORN: Coleman Beowulf “Beo” Jakesch to Liz Cross Jakesch and husband Simon on Oct. 20, 2015. Pippin, 4, is loving her new role as a big sister.

15th Reunion
In June, Ned Kelly and his family – Lia, Jane, 4, and Edward, 2 – moved to England as Ned began a posting at U.S. Africa Command. The Kelly family has enjoyed three great years in Colorado Springs, CO, where Ned worked at NORAD-U.S. Northern Command, but is excited for their new overseas adventure. They hope fellow Cougars will come visit! Ethan Wirt was named to Venture Forum RVA’s Board of Directors. He is a founder of Hourwise, a platform that helps contractors with administrative tasks. MARRIED: Lucy Moore to Chris Hogsed on April 16, 2016. Sister Tayloe Moore Reeves ’98 was the matron of honor and Austin Scott Bader, Lizzy Cutchins Messick and Ambler Shuford ’02 were bridesmaids. Jeff Dunnington was an usher. Lucy and Chris live in Richmond where she is COO of The Frontier Project and he is an account manager for J.B. Hunt Transport Services. In the past year, Richmond has landed on numerous “Top 10” or “Best” lists. U.S. News & World Report proclaimed it in the top “Best Places to Live in the USA.” Travel + Leisure ranked RVA “No. 3 on international list of Best Places to Travel.” Men’s Journal called the city the “modern cultural capital of the South.” National Geographic touted it as a “top destination for food travel.” –
Ashby Grace Einwick, daughter of Hillary Ross Einwick ’01, was born Jan. 6, 2016.
Giuliana Vranian to Michael Vranian and wife Danielle on April 28, 2016. They are currently living in Ohio where Michael recently finished his general cardiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Michael will be starting his advanced fellowship in heart failure and cardiac transplantation, also at the Cleveland Clinic, this year.
