s part of the national 48 Hour Film Project, Richmond holds an event every summer and in recent years, Collegiate students, alumni and faculty have worked on teams in the competition. On Friday night of the weekend of the event, teams are given three required elements that they must include in their short films – this year the character was Max or Maxine Lydard, House Guest; the prop was a flag; and the line was “There’s no time to lose.” They are also given a genre. Then they go to work for the next (often sleepless) 48 hours, writing, producing and editing a film no longer than seven minutes – all must be complete “Class Axe” Alum Team #1 by Sunday evening at 7 p.m. Title: RIP From July 12 –14, these teams of R.
