STUDENT HEALTH SERVICE

The University is strongly committed to providing exceptional Health and Wellness Services to your student throughout their time at Penn. These departments provide comprehensive physical, mental and behavioral health care services in convenient locations and hours on campus. The transition to college is an exciting time in the life of your student. It is sometimes more difficult for parents, particularly when students are sick. Take comfort in knowing the University of Pennsylvania provides a comprehensive Student Health Service. Located at 3535 Market Street, Student Health Service is a state-of-the art primary care center dedicated to the health and well-being of Penn students. SHS provides accessible, cost-effective, culturally sensitive, and studentfocused treatment, including care for sick visits, injuries, chronic medical conditions, preventive

health services, health and wellness education, stress management, and immunizations. SHS is a gender-affirming and trans-inclusive office with providers experienced in treating transgender clients. Privacy and confidentiality are of utmost concern. Clinical hours include Saturdays and some evenings as well.
