Volunteer Opportunities Your journey doesn’t stop at orientation! Become an Anteater Parent Ambassador to stay connected through volunteer opportunities that allow you to work alongside other UCI parents with the same goal: to enrich the undergraduate experience. Through event support, corporate partnerships, board membership and campaign advocacy, you will ensure the success of each and every Anteater. To learn more, email parentengagement@uci.edu. • Anteater Welcome Receptions Each summer we welcome newly admitted students and their families to small receptions hosted by UCI alumni and parents in various regions. We’re always looking for volunteers to host, help greet new families and answer questions. • Parent and Family Coffee Socials Held twice a year, these informal gatherings connect UCI parents and family members in their local communities. Details will be shared during fall and spring quarters. • Anteater Family Weekend and UCI Homecoming Experience life as an Anteater firsthand! Held during Homecoming weekend in early spring, this event provides opportunities to attend faculty seminars, deans’ receptions, workshops, festivities in Aldrich Park and a spirited basketball game.
