Industry growth^ +74,900 or +28%

The workforce is expected to record the largest increase in employment between 2021 and 2026, to meet the needs of the increasing number of older Australians.

Migrants and Refugees Career Pathways in Health

Program description:

Have you always loved caring for others? Start training for a truly rewarding career by participating in the Career Pathways for Migrants and Refugee in Health program This program provides an introduction the Health industry The program includes specialised training in-demand skills and including workplace language and communication skills.

This course also provides:

Healthcare is one of the largest industries of employment for Western Sydney residents Learn about the recruitment process with local Hospitals and health centres in the Canterbury Bankstown area

You may be nominated to participate in work experience with Canterbury Hospital and other Health Service Providers in the Canterbury Bankstown Area to build on your skills and local work experience

Eligibility criteria: To access government-subsidised training in TAFE NSW, including fee exemptions or concessions, you must be:

• an Australian citizen or meet the criteria of being an Australian permanent resident, a humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen;

• aged 15 years or older;

• no longer be at school; or

• living or working in NSW;
