Briefing with U.S Department of Justice on the Illegal Marijuana and Drug Related Violent Crime in North Texas Grant

Congratulations are in order for the Criminal Justice grant team who completed a high-level research briefing on November 28, 2022, with U S DOJ and other Federal officials including the Director of the National Institute of Justice, the FBI, DEA, HHS, U.S. Attorneys, Office of National Drug Control Policy, National Institute on Drug Abuse, the U.S. State Department, and various other DOJ officials.

The results were also presented at the American Society of Criminology meeting Representatives from the Criminal Justice Department have been invited to staff an NIJ panel at the Academy for Criminal Justice Science annual meeting as well as the NIJ Research and Evaluation Conference in the spring.
