Cole Diamond

Cole Diamond is a Toronto-based serial entrepreneur and early-stage investor known for building successful businesses across several industries. As the co-founder and former CEO of Coinsquare, he led Canada’s top cryptocurrency exchange to raise over $100 million in funding, achieving important regulatory milestones with the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) in the process. In recognition of these and other achievements in the crypto space, Cole Diamond was named Canada’s top Tech Entrepreneur by the Digital Finance Institute in 2019. Outside of his groundbreaking work in cryptocurrency, Cole has made a name for himself in several other fields. He is the controlling shareholder of Ghost Kitchens International, a company widely credited with reshaping the food delivery industry due to its innovative operational model. In the hospitality sector, he co-founded Vela, a Michelin-rated fine-dining restaurant in Toronto, and he is a major investor in Stella, an upscale Italian restaurant in West Hollywood. Long an active investor, Cole Diamond supports early-stage ventures, backing companies like Big Digital, KEEP, and RoketEV. His portfolio of assets also includes real estate investments located across North America. His next entrepreneurial project, Trade In, a tech and automotive company slated for launch in 2025, is highly anticipated by tech enthusiasts and industry insiders alike. When not working, Cole spends most of his time with his wife, Shelby, and their three young sons. They currently reside in the Greater Toronto Area.
