HISTORY TRIPS
This year, 5 year 11 students have been completing their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award. This award follows on from the Bronze I was only 9 when I got into boxing. I always wanted to award, which the group completed in 2021. To achieve the silver box because I was not very confident in myself, but as award the participants are required to spend at least 6 months soon as I got into boxing, I felt like it was a thing I completing the following; wanted to do. I have had 3 bouts and I have won all 3 by points. During the two day expedition, students I never thought I would make it as far as I have right now, however I have proved myself wrong. At the end of the fight I was awarded the win by unanimous decision, meaning all 3 judges had me winning the bout. I was the only fighter on that evening to win against someone from the home team.
