ADMITTED STUDENTS PROGRAMMING April 2024
CLASS OF 2028

HELLO, CLASS OF 2028.

Congratulations, Colby College Class of 2028! You’ve dedicated considerable effort to reach this milestone, and you should take great pride in your accomplishments. We are so thrilled and honored to host such an exceptional group of intellectual minds at the 2028 Admitted Students Program, both in-person and virtually. The in-person programming is on April 15, with various virtual program options throughout April 16–20. We hope that the Admitted Students Program will give you a chance to take a peek at what life at Colby would look like and why we all love it so much up on Mayflower Hill.

Our time at Colby was one full of self-discovery, education, and exploration. We have deepened our knowledge of the subjects we are passionate about, explored unique and niche concepts in classes we never thought we’d be taking, and found the joy in challenging ourselves. Serving as president and vice president of the Student Government Association, we have had the honor of seeing Colby up close, which only grew our love and admiration for the truly special experience that these past four years have been. We leave Colby with the knowledge that we worked diligently to represent the student voice, and we look forward to watching the next generation of Colby students take campus by storm.

Throughout the month of April, you’ll be able to experience many of the opportunities that mean so much to Colby students. As you prepare to learn more and engage with our remarkable community, we wanted to pass along a few pro tips:

• Take advantage of Spotlight Classes to connect with our world-renowned faculty.

• Don’t miss the welcome with President Greene to hear about his vision for your time at Colby and beyond.

• If you’re on campus April 15, stop by the Club Expo to meet student leaders from some of our more than 100 student-run clubs and organizations—including SGA!

• Take a quiet moment to explore—in-person or virtually—the galleries of the Colby College Museum of Art.

• Engage with DavisConnects to learn more about Colby’s amazing postgraduate opportunities and programs.

• Chat with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and others to learn what they love most about our community!

Take advantage of the chance to explore the many facets of our campus and learn about different ways to get involved. We are confident that you will leave this experience with a much more well-rounded idea of what Colby truly is. We are so excited to welcome you to the start of this journey. Go Mules!

Sincerely,

From the Student Government Association
