City councilmembers sworn in for new term

Councilmembers Jon McKenzie, John Miller, and Jimmy Meeks ran unopposed this election and were sworn in on May 9 for their new term in office. Councilmember Booe has retired from City Council after serving our city for the last 32 years. We are grateful for his lasting impact on the City of Hurst and wish him well on his next adventure! Councilmember Gary N. Waldron was also voted in as Mayor Pro Tem for the year. Congratulations to all!
