COMPANY PROFILE
Company ProďŹ le Vision International Forwarding is an Australian owned provider of transportation logistics services. Since 1995 Vision has focused on niche aspects within the forwarding industry specialising in time critical and temperature sensitive cargoes. Our skilled and knowledgeable team has now been further enhanced by the appointment of dedicated projects logistics leaders. These specialists provide a highly experienced alternative to traditional logistics providers in the industrial sector. We believe that as a forward thinking participant in the dynamic industrial sector we bring enthusiasm and professionalism to a domain that has been dominated by multinational corporations in the past. Being based in Australia we understand our territory better than anyone. We understand the nuances and difďŹ culties that can adversely affect the outcomes of industrial project logistics. That is why our team of in-house industry experts and those partnered by Vision brings conďŹ dence to our customers by achieving on time and on budget outcomes.

TRACK & TRACE CAPABILITIES
Track & Trace Capabilities ‘Vision Webtrack’ ‘Vision Webtrack’ is an internet based application designed from the ground up to manage the flow of goods across a customers’ defined supply chain. The Webtrack facility is directly integrated with the company’s operating system thereby reducing data input errors as essential data entry is only required on a single entry basis. Clients have access to a user and password controlled interface via the internet to directly check and track their shipments. Orders can be tracked by PO number, vendor, shipping release, shipment reference, line item number, tag number or supplier and with additional options incorporating date ranges and multiple other search criteria functionality. Reporting is also available via the web based interface where clients can choose whether to produce a report at selection or schedule it via email at set intervals. Reports are available from purchase order status through to final delivery including customised milestone events. The web based interface stores shipment and other related documents which are uploaded into the system. Effectively any file can be attached to a shipment but typically you will find a commercial invoice, packing list, customs entries, fumigation certificates, bills of lading, airway bills, inspection releases, load drawings, emails and photographs. A variety of search criteria can be used to track materials and all these fields are customised to suit individual project requirements. In summary, “Vision Webtrack” has the following standard minimum features: >
Internet accessibility
>
Flexibility

Full EDI and search capabilities

Quality Management System The nature of Vision’s perishable and time sensitive cargo business has lead to the development of its Quality Management System (QMS) which is in-line with both WQA and SQF 2000 standards, across all of Vision’s business units.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Vision is committed to achieving an ISO9001/2008 recognised standard for its QMS, and the process for conforming to this standard has already begun.
14
HSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
HSE Management System The Vision Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSEMS) defines the company’s commitment to HSE issues, and is summarised in the HSE Policy, describing the organisation, structure and methods adopted. The HSE Management System combines the three themes of health, safety and the environment and is integrated into the company’s management system. The system’s internal integration relates to the homogeneous involvement of the three management systems for health, safety and environment. In a single complex and harmonised system, it complies with the principles of the company’s quality system. The HSEMS is represented in a specific manual which contains a description of Vision’s HSE process. The mission of the HSE process is explained in the policy and its aims are reached through implementation of the HSE Management System. >
To provide support for the company’s core processes to ensure that the activities are carried out, fully respecting industrial safety, health and the environment.
>
To ensure continuous monitoring, distribution of information and training with regards to health, safety and environmental issues.
>
To provide service, support and personnel to the project and to ensure its management is in-line with company guidelines, standards and the requirements of individual clients and regulatory authorities.
HSE represents an integral part of the core business of the company. For this reason the elements designed to manage them are essential during the development of activities controlled by Vision, with consideration also given to the pressure and the increasingly stringent requirements imposed by national and international legislation, as well as by clients, the public and government authorities. The Vision HSE Management System is structured in three levels:
Level 1 – Corporate Level 2 – Operating Divisions (Projects, Forwarding, Customs, Perishables) Level 3 – Project Each one of the above levels is provided with specific policies, standards, guidelines and procedures. 15
Quality & HSE Policy Vision is committed to quality, health, safety and environmental performance just as we are in managing and delivering project construction cargo. We aim to enhance our Q&HSE culture within each operating division, minimising injuries and occupational illnesses targeting a zero incident environment. This is achieved through active participation and support of all management, employees, customers and contractors. In order to fulfil this commitment, Vision maintains both Q&HSE Management Systems. The system is based on the following principles: >
Q&HSE values will not be compromised. No job is so important or urgent that the necessary steps cannot be taken to safely perform the job.
>
Everyone has the right and responsibility to intervene if there are any concerns that safety is being compromised.
Vision’s principal Q&HSE objectives are: >
To comply with all relevant legislation and standards (nationally and internationally)
>
To identify and assess Q&HSE risks to ensure that appropriate mitigation control measures are in place
>
To minimise adverse environmental impacts which could be caused by ourselves
>
To provide our employees with appropriate training and resources to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to perform their work
>
To continuously monitor Q&HSE performance and audit key activities in order to foster the continuous improvement of our Quality & HSE Management Systems.
QUALITY & HSE POLICY
To reach these objectives and assure implementation of the Q&HSE ment Management Systems within all operating divisions, Vision’s management provides adequate human, financial and technical resources. ment, Together we will foster a work environment that holds management, g this employees and contractors accountable for fully implementing Q&HSE Policy.
16
Maintaining our fundamental core values is and always will be the measure of our success.
