plays a massive impact too raising awareness and inspiring everyone around. Brands and magazines release more and more shoots that are almost unretouched (like post-pregnancy Lara Stone for System or a recent Kate Moss editorial in Vogue Italia), feature older women without trying to look too young and not advertising anti-ageing creams (Jessica Lange for Marc Jacobs beauty or recent Celine campaign for instance), and are not only sticking to skinny body standard. One does not have to be perfect to be on trend anymore. There are still lots to be worked on, but overall I think it is a good and healthy direction Perfection is boring.

CI: What do you feel you have learned by creating this series? AK: I think Klutz series was a great internal change in the direction I work in – I have learned to celebrate the imperfect, to admire the awkward and not to be scared to make a fool of myself. CI: How do you want others to perceive the series? AK: With a great amount of irony : ) CI: What are your creative hopes and dreams for the future? AK: I feel like am still in the very beginning of my creative path, so at the moment I feel like traveling a lot, gathering up lots of crazy ideas and bringing them to life and being playful with fashion. I am also getting involved with moving image – after directing a couple of fashion films, I am now learning to film & edit myself. My sneaky creative dreams would be to learn
