here has been much debate on our local Facebook pages about our new roundabout. Its design, how long it has taken, the cost and if it should have been a roundabout at all. But there is no doubt that this is a massive safety improvement. We often forget how many accidents there were at this intersection. But we can never forget the horrific accident involving a young student, named Sophia just before 7am on 14 June 2018. It was so heartwarming to meet Sophia at the opening of the roundabout. couple of weeks ago and it was very interesting to hear the long-term plans on the expansion of the airport at Postman's Road in Dairy Flat. In summary, the club is wanting to extend the runway to the south west to cater for 80-seater planes and to become a regional airport. The Airport Authority Status is the first step for doing this. At this meeting it was unclear if they get this status what local area would be covered by any future bylaws.
