Whole Body Vibration is a 50 year old technology. This approach to exercise has over 200 clinical studies completed by some of the worlds top research institutes including the University of Miami School of Medicine and the University of New York at Stoney Brook. The Office of the Surgeon General recommends Whole Body Vibration for those individuals who are unable to exercise regularly. Health Canada licensed whole body vibration for maintaining and increasing bone mineral density (reversing Osteoporosis). This therapy increases circulation from the lower extremities to the heart as well as increasing lymphatic drainage. At least 23 professional sports teams train their athletes with whole body vibration including the San Diego Chargers and Padres. The statement of 10 minutes is equal to one hour of exercise may be hard to believe but is true. The vibrating platform can create from 9,000 18,000 muscle contractions in just 10 minutes. Some of the benefits received include increased daily energy levels, reduced stress levels, increased inch loss, increased muscle tone and fast calorie burn.
