Boogie Inc. has been part of the fabric of the Pensacola weddings and events industry since the 80s. They provide audio services for major annual events, like the Seafood Festival, Double Bridge Run, and the Pensacola Beach Blue Angel Air Show - and they absolutely love the opportunity to serve engaged couples at wedding receptions and ceremonies!
HIDDEN HISTORY:
In 1982, David McDonald started Boogie Inc. as a sideline to working at a local radio station in Pensacola. As the business grew, David’s wife, Bonnie McDonald, who had a radio background, also started to DJ and helped expand to multiple systems. Boogie Inc. later became a woman-owned business when David went into the IT field as a software trainer and installer. Currently, three of their eight DJs are female.

Boogie Inc. specializes in Personality DJs that provide lively music and bring the fun at weddings! Located in Pensacola, Florida, their team of professional DJs serve the Emerald Coast, spanning from Destin to Gulf Shores. Not only will Boogie Inc. be the life of the reception,
they can also provide sound and music for your ceremony, too! Whether it’s on the beach, at a barn, in a banquet venue, or hosted at a private residence, their team of DJs has you covered.
WHAT WE LOVE THE MOST:
Personalized! As DJs, they have the distinct privilege of setting the tone for a celebration where two families and multiple friend groups are combining, with many meeting for the first time that day. This beautiful blend of the couples’ most important people means that there is always a unique combination of music tastes. Boogie Inc. excels at reading the crowd, seeing what people respond to, and encouraging everyone to get on the dance floor throughout the night!
Prepared! The DJs prepare for the wedding with a selection of songs for the first dance, parent dances, ceremony music, along with the other festive events like cake cutting, bouquet and garter tosses, etc. At the wedding, they also collaborate with the photographer, wedding planner, and other vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly! Fearless! There is no wedding too “out-there” for the Boogie team! Between working a wedding located on a hunting camp with the bride riding an ATV,
to nuptials at a boxing ring where the groom entered to the Rocky theme-song, Boogie Inc. is ready and excited to complement any wedding with the soundtrack it deserves. They once had a couple skydive into their wedding - not even the sky’s the limit for Boogie, Inc!
