South African Winemaker’s Dinner

Two winemakers originally from South Africa, Ernst Storm and Dieter Cronje, of STORM and Presqu’ile Wines respectively, will present a selection of wines specifically for the South African dinner that Chef Nirasha Rodriguez will prepare on Saturday, July 29, at 6 p.m. at The Food Liaison, 1033 Casitas Pass Road. With biltong and blatjang among the appetizers, ostrich shawarma in the dinner offering and malva pudding for desert, the dinner promises to be an authentic taste of South Africa. Tickets are $125 and can be purchased by calling the restaurant at 200-3030.
