Experience the beautiful towns of Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon and the quintessential English villages of the Cotswolds and discover over 1,000 years of history at Warwick Castle. During your stay... Day 1 – We visit Royal Leamington Spa before arriving at our hotel. Day 2 – This morning we visit Warwick Castle, now one of the UK’s biggest attractions, it was originally built by William the Conqueror. Day 3 – This afternoon we have arranged a return journey on the Gloucester Warwickshire railway with Cream Tea included. During the journey we cross the 15-arch Stanway Viaduct from which Stanway House can just be seen. Day 4 – Today we enjoy a full day visiting 3 traditional Cotswolds villages for free time. Moreton-in-Marsh is one of the principle market towns in the northern Cotswolds and the high street is made up of elegant 18th century inns and houses including the Redesdale Market Hall. Stow-on-the-Wold is home to many fine antiques shops and arts and crafts while Bourton-on-the-Water is regularly voted as one of the prettiest villages in England with a wealth of tea rooms. Day 5 – We enjoy a stop in Stratford-upon-Avon a town synonymous with its most famous historical resident, William Shakespeare, on our way home.
We return once again to magical Merseyside, with a new itinerary for 2017. Staying in a Grade II Lancashire Manor hotel with evening entertainment included. We also enjoy a journey on the East Lancashire Railway. Admission into Speke Hall & Garden and a fish and chip lunch at the renowned Olympus Restaurant. During your stay... Day 1 – This morning enjoy free time in Chester. At our hotel tea and coffee will be served. Day 2 – After free time in Liverpool we spend the afternoon at Speke Hall & Garden, a Tudor timber-framed manor house on the banks of the River Mersey. Entertainment will follow tonight’s evening meal. Day 3 – Enjoy a free day in the comfort of our hotel. Afternoon Tea will also be served in the hotel today. Day 4 – We board the East Lancashire Railway for a journey to Bury. From here we drive to Bolton, where we have booked a fish & chip lunch for you at Olympus Restaurant, an award-winning family-run business. Your afternoon is at leisure in Southport home to one of the oldest piers in the UK. Entertainment will follow tonight’s evening meal back at the hotel. Day 5 – After breakfast we travel home with a few comfort stops along the way.
