In 2006, he expanded his holdings into Pulaski, with the $1.26 million purchase of the Redwood Motel. Modi separated the Redwood Motel, which is divided by Route 13, into two lodgings: a Red Carpet Inn and a Scottish Inn & Suites. In 2009, The Scottish Inn & Suites in Oswego and Pulaski as well as the Red Carpet Inn in Pulaski were converted to Travelodge franchises. In 2014, Modi switched brands in his three locations in Oswego County. The former Travelodges at 309 W. Seneca St., Oswego, and on state Route 13, Pulaski, are now Knights Inn locations. The Days Inn on state Route 104 East in Oswego is also a Knights Inn.
