INTRODUCTION • CNN International was established in September of 1985. It forms part of the Turner Broadcasting Systems network. Techwood was known as their first studio, where they formed part of the local CNN/US and Headline news broadcasts. In 1990 there was a significant increase in the cnn international viewers and the studio complex was built in 1994. • They competed with the BBC world service programming, and Cnn international was seen as an international orientated news channel. CNN news now covers different stories such as politics, sports, business programming and current affairs. • After undergoing a logo change in 1995, 2009 and 2013, CNN international news streaming became available online in 2015 and was known as the World Report.
