The location of the "RSR" mint has been attributed to London for the following reasons: 1). the logical location for a precious metal mint would be Carausius' administrative capital, and 2). an RSR aureus shares an obverse die with an unmarked antoninianus attributed to the London mint. Donative type coins, gold, silver and bronze medallions were all struckwith RSR letters and P.J. Casey in "Carausius and Allectus: The British Usurpers" speculates that all the base metal coins are unofficial.

1021. CARAUSIUS. 287-293 AD. Antoninianus (3.96 gm). "C" Camulodunum mint. Radiate bust right / APOLLI CONS AVG, Griffin walking right; MC. RIC V pt.2,193 or 195. Good VF, glossy black patina. ($250) Overstruck on an earlier antoninianus with traces of the undertype xnsible on both the obverse and reverse, the letters VICTO visible before Carausius' bust. 1016. CARAUSIUS. 287-293 AD. 7Ε Denarius (2.04 gm). Laureate and draped bust right / Aequitas standing left, holding scales and cornucopiae. RIC V pt. 2,—.VF+, green patina. ($3TO) Similar to RIC Vpt.2,710 but without the reverse legend. The crudeness of the lettering, the reverse being unintelligible, suggests that this is a contemporary imitation. 1022. CARAUSIUS. 287-293 AD. Antoninianus (3.97 gm). "C" Camulodunum mint. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right / COMES AVG, Victory standing left, holding wreath and palm; C. RIC V pt.2,199. VF, brown surfaces. ($100)
