VF, brown and dark gray surfaces, some green, brassy highlights on reverse, a few small pits, areas of minor roughness and smoothing. Rare. IMP CAES M AVR ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / PONTIF MAX TR P, S C in exergue, Roma, helmeted and draped, seated left, holding Victory on extended right hand and vertical spear in left; round shield set on ground to right in front of seat. RIC IV 284; Thirion 4; Banti 44; BMCRE 343-4. VF, even brassy-tan river patina, granular surfaces, a few pits, small flaw on obverse near edge. IVLIA PA VLA AVG, draped bust right, wearing stephane / CONCORDIA, S C in exergue, Concordia, draped, seated left on throne, holding patera in right hand and double cornucopia in left; star high in left field. RIC IV 381; Thirion 459; Banti 6; BMCRE 415 (Elagabalus). VF, green-tan surfaces, some dark gray and red, hairline flan crack, slight doubling on obverse. Rare. IVLIA AQVILIA SEVERA AVG, draped bust right, wearing stephane / CONCO[RDIA], S C across field, Concordia, draped, standing left, cradling double cornucopia in left arm and sacrificing out of patera in right hand over garlanded and lighted altar to left; [star in right field]. RIC IV 390 (Elagabalus); Thirion 482; Banti 4; BMCRE 432-3 (Elagabalus). Near VF, brown surfaces, some red, green, and earthen deposits, pit on reverse deletes star, hairline flan crack, areas of minor roughness and smoothing. Rare. ($750) From the RAM Collection.
