WEEKLY HOROSCOPES Aries - You may come down with a shortterm flu-bug or have a touch of the "brandy ague". You'll be slower than usual, but this could turn out to be a good thing, because it will force you to look at some challenging things in much closer detail than you might have considered otherwise.
Taurus - If you are a parent it is play day this week but you just don't feel like getting off the couch. Once you drag yourself outside you'll find that you enjoy yourself a lot more than you thought you would. If you are not a parent, you may find it hard to get started on your own hobbies.
Gemini - A family member needs to be brought down to earth - or they think you do. Either way, there is likely to be a confrontation with a bit of an "ego" overtone. You can avoid it by getting everyone to focus on shared needs, chores or on a homeimprovement project. Cancer - It is too easy for you to come off as a pompous know it all this week. Don't be caught pontificating next to the watercooler. No matter what the political or social issue is under discussion, you are likely to be misinterpreted in decidedly "politically incorrect" tones.
Leo - There may be financial challenges right now, but any difficulties you encounter should be seen as character-building lifelessons. You have the opportunity to take a leadership role in responding to a crisis. You have an idea for a way to make a lot of money in a big hurry, but the truth of the matter is that the project is going to be a lot harder than you think.
Virgo - You have to set some time aside to admire yourself in the mirror, but the truth is hard to avoid. You have to be more than just a pretty face in this world, and people aren't going to necessarily cut you any slack for your charm. You may find it backfires if you lay it on too thick in fact.

Libra - You could stumble across an old childhood hurt that is buried in your subconscious this week. If you find yourself acting oddly and you don't know why, stop for a moment and ask yourself "What is this all really about?" The answer could be healing. Scorpio - Challenging developments involving friends, associations or group activities are bringing you to be aware of the impact that others have on your life, for good or ill. You'll want to decide which friends to keep, and who you need to grow beyond. Sagittarius - You are going to be swapping steps on the career or social ladder soon and the changes, be they upwards or downwards, will bring stress and change with them. You will have to change your attitudes towards others, or the way you communicate with them. Capricorn - It looks like the old wanderlust has returned, but your budget just does not support a long trip right now. There are other ways to salve the itchy feet you are suffering from - get online, find lower-cost alternatives, or dream-browse the travel magazines for now.
Aquarius - You may have your own financial ups and downs of late, but this week your compassion for someone else's troubles is going to take your mind of any worries you might have yourself. You'll be an angel to someone in emotional distress. Be a good listener.
Pisces - It's not the easiest week for you in terms of expressing romantic emotions. There is a lot of bottled-up stuff wanting to come out, but you're not sure of yourself. Your energies are erratic, but you do have a highly creative streak this week and can get a lot done.
