BY BARI AUERBACH When Mr. Chef’s Fine Chinese Cuisine & Bar recently hosted an Aventura Marketing Council Aventura Young Professionals networking luncheon, the menu’s “delicious surprises” made everyone agree, “Now you don’t have to go as far as the Far East to enjoy authentic Chinese dishes like Asian Grilled Seabass, Pork Shiu Mai, Kung Pao Shrimp and Dynasty Lobster. AYP chair Jeff Levinson of Sabadell United Bank and Mr. Chef’s hospitable proprietor Jin X. Chen welcomed a great turnout of under-45 AYP members to the new restaurant conveniently located on the first floor of The Venture fronting 29th Avenue at Northeast 188th Street (behind Publix at Loehmann’s Fashion Island). Heralded as “the first ever fine Chinese cuisine and bar in Aventura,” Mr. Chef’s is receiving rave reviews for offering a “wonderful upscale dining experience; dine in and take-out service, plus patio dining and catering for parties and special corporate events. Leaders from Eisenger, Brown, Lewis,

Frankel & Chaiet PA, Fabian Realty and Morton’s Steakhouse were especially impressed by Mr. Chef’s “fresh-from-the-wok cooking while friends from Melnick, Lilenfeld & Castonguay CPA’s, Marksman Security, Williams Island POA, Stern Bloom Media and the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort were surprised by the moderate prices. Colleagues from the Office of Dr. Richard Galitz, NationwideGoToBilling.com, Tropic Survival Advertising & Marketing, iBeautiful.com and ASAP Staffing Services looked forward to sampling special Dim Sum dishes like Shrimp Dumplings and Chicken or Beef Satays as teams from the Office of Dr. Frederick Knoll, EWM, Fidelity Investments and Welcome / Beinvenidos Visitors Magazine contemplated sharing Edamame, Spring Rolls, Mango Shrimp or Seafood Rolls, Crab Wonton and Bar-B-Q Spare Ribs. Beef and pork lovers from Riemer Insurance Group, County Line Chiropractic, Velocity Printing and AventuraBusinessMonthly.com were also planning to place regular take-out orders of Orange Peel Beef, 12 oz. New York Strip, Pepper Steak, Mu Shu or Sweet & Sour Pork. Busy entrepreneurs from Success for Kids, MyNetKey.com, Where Magazine, Planet Beach, DS Xpress and Andrew Goldstein Photography looked forward to enjoying lunch specials served Monday through Friday from noon to 3 p.m. with soup or house salad and choice of rice. Entrees from $7.95 include Crispy Honey Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Sesame Beef, Chicken or Pork Lo Mein, Cashew Shrimp and Curry Chicken. Garden” dishes prepared without any oil, salt, soy sauce or cornstarch like steamed mixed vegetables with chicken, shrimp or scallops. While AYP members were building business while having “fun” – Mr. Chef’s Cantonese Chow Fun (stir-fried wide rice noodles) - plus Peking Duck served in two courses (crispy duck skin with shredded greens and steamed pancakes - followed by stir-fried duck meat and mixed vegetables with rice sticks and lettuce) were just two more surprising specialties prompting everyone to agree Mr. Chef’s really is “Hao Chi!” (delicious).
